ITINERARY
Day 1: Ha Giang City, Heaven Gate, Lung Tam Village, Lung Khuy Cave, Yen Minh Town
Depart from Safari Hostel at 08:30 a.m. and journey through dramatic mountain roads via Bac Sum Pass to reach Heaven Gate for panoramic views of the Twin Mountains. After lunch in Quan Ba, explore the colorful Lung Tam linen village and hike to the impressive Lung Khuy Cave. Visit the serene Pine Hills forest, then settle into a cozy homestay in Yen Minh Town with a local dinner and optional karaoke.
Day 2: Yen Minh Town, Tham Ma Pass, Lao Sa Village, H'Mong King, Lung Cu Flag Point, Dong Van Town
Begin with the winding Tham Ma Pass and pass the historic Nine-Turn Pass to visit ancient Lao Sa Village. Discover the spectacular Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark and tour the H’Mong King's Palace. Then, climb to the iconic Lung Cu Flag Point, Vietnam’s northernmost landmark. Arrive in Dong Van Town for a family-style dinner and enjoy local delicacies at the vibrant night market.
Day 3: Dong Van Town, Ma Pi Leng Pass, Nho Que River, Mau Due, Du Gia
Visit the colorful Dong Van Ethnic Market, then travel the breathtaking Ma Pi Leng Pass with panoramic views of the Nho Que River. Take a scenic boat ride with options for swimming or kayaking. Continue through Mau Due and Meo Vac, witnessing authentic village life. Arrive in Du Gia, a peaceful village surrounded by nature, for a homestay, hearty dinner, and final round of karaoke.
Day 4: Du Gia, Yen Minh, Lung Tam Village, Thuan Hoa, Ha Giang City
Start with a refreshing swim at Tham Luong Waterfall, then revisit Lung Tam Village to learn about the 41-step process of traditional H’Mong linen making. Experience the warmth and hospitality of the locals before returning through mountain trails to Safari Hostel in Ha Giang City, arriving around 05:00 p.m. This journey offers an unforgettable mix of landscapes, culture, and adventure.
